No card? No worries.

Did you know Optum Bank lets you connect your Health Savings Account Debit Mastercard to Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Now you can use your phone or mobile device to help pay for qualified medical expenses. And all you have to do is add your card — here’s how.  

To add your card to Google Pay:

1. Open the Google Pay Send app or visit pay.google.com.
2. Click Menu. (If you’re on the web, go to step 3.)
3. Click Payment methods.
4. Click Add payment method at the bottom.
5. Choose Add a debit card.
6. Enter your card details. On your mobile device: To capture your card info, click Take Picture.
7. Click Save.

To add your card to Samsung Pay:

1. Open the Samsung Pay app or visit samsungpay.com.
2. Click add. Or, if this is the first payment card being added, click Add a credit or debit card.
3. Align your card inside the frame to automatically detect the card number and expiration date.
4. Review the terms and conditions. Then click agree to all.

Once you add your card, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Optum Bank that you’re all set up. It’s another way we’re making it easy to get the most of your HSA.
