Change your communication delivery to online
Help reduce waste and get your information efficiently — when you edit your communication preferences, you’ll now receive email notifications that your statements are available to view online.
Steps to change your communication preferences
Sign in to your online account, click "Accounts", then select "Account Management" from the top menu bar. Under your Communication Preferences click "Edit" and select "Online."
If you are updating your communication preferences through the Optum Bank app, first sign in to your account. Then click on your account under the "Accounts" section on the Dashboard. Under the "Account / Plan Information" select "Account Details". In Account Details, click "Edit" and select "Online" under your Communication Preferences.
Ensure your email address is current under Account Profile.
If you update your communication delivery preferences to “Online”, you’ll no longer receive a printed quarterly account statement in the mail. Instead, you will receive a monthly email notice that your statement is available to view online. If needed, you can easily print a copy of your monthly statement at any time.
To help keep your accounts secure, Optum Bank uses encryption to protect your information, including your user name, password and account details. And, you are automatically signed out of your online account after a predetermined amount of time.
