Ways to Pay

You have several options for paying and reimbursing yourself for qualified medical expenses.

Use your Optum Bank Health Savings Account Debit MasterCard®
Your Debit MasterCard is the easiest way to pay for eligible purchases on the spot or after you receive a bill. There's a $10,000 per 24 hours limit for point-of-service payments with your card.

Pay Bills Online
Use Make a Payment to send payments directly to your health care providers, pharmacy, or other payees. Log in to your account and click on Make a Payment to get started.

Write a Check
If you prefer to pay with checks, you can order them online — $10 for a book of 25. Log in to your account and click on Order Checks.

Reimburse Yourself
When you pay for eligible expenses out-of-pocket, you can log in and request a check disbursement from your HSA using the Reimburse Yourself feature. You can also request a reimbursement to another bank account by filling out the Transfer of Funds – ACH Withdrawal form (PDF) or you can use your Debit MasterCard at an ATM that displays the MasterCard acceptance mark to get cash to reimburse yourself. Note: you’ll need your PIN (mailed to you when you opened your account). There's a $300 per 24 hours limit on ATM withdrawals.*

*There is a $1.50 ATM withdrawal fee. Access fees may also be charged by the ATM owner.
